Germany's Best Companies to Work for

In 2006 PAION participated in the survey of "Germany's Best Companies to Work for" and immediately ranked 10th in the category "Companies with 50-500 employees" and 23rd in composite ranking.

"We are especially proud that we were not only among the Top 50 the first year we entered the competition, but also that we ranked so highly." said Dr Wolfgang Söhngen, founder and CEO of PAION. The rating focused on credibility, respect, fairness, pride and teamwork. In the following you find some examples of the voting:

We pass the credit on to all PAIONeers, who contribute to an open, friendly and fair working environment. As a company, we can create positive frameworks in the form of our structural offerings - but it takes everyone's contribution to create respectful interaction and a good atmosphere. That is why we do not see this award as a one-sided evaluation of the company's management and our offerings, but rather as an honour to all PAIONeers.

"The competition offers us the chance to cast a critical eye on our work environment in comparison to others and to see how we can improve. This award confirms that we are on the right path - and underscores our responsibility for the future!" said Ina Rixen, Head of Human Resources.

The Study: "Germany's Best Companies to Work for 2006"

In the competition for the seal of approval "Germany's Best Companies to Work for 2006", 165 German companies representing industry, retail and services were evaluated by their own employees in a detailed, anonymous survey.

The competition is conducted annually by the business magazine "Capital" and representatives of the Great Place to Work® Institute Germany. It is the largest and most significant competition of its kind, measuring quality and attractiveness of employers. It is also sponsored in part by the Initiative New Quality of Work (INQA) of the Federal Ministry of Labour and the European Commission.

The assessment of companies' workplace quality takes place on the basis of a standardised, written survey of all employees in the categories credibility, respect, fairness, pride and teamwork. In addition, the companies submit a written analysis of corporate culture, human resources concepts and company performance. The Top 50 companies are then selected from among the entrants and awarded the Seal of Approval.
